Strategic consultant in materials science and technologies Purpose-driven independent consultant with +20 years of experience on materials engineering and surface engineered solutions.
Dr Cruz has worked in three countries in Latin America and Europe where he has built since 2000 year a continuous and diverse experience at Universities, Technological Centre and Industrial Research around setting tribology labs, tribological designs, materials testing, plasma technologies for materials processing and industrial research for graphene production. Dr Cruz is Metallurgic Engineer with PhD focused on tribology and surface engineering (Central University of Venezuela), Professional Member of the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining UK (MIMMM), UK Chartered Engineer (CEng), UK Chartered Scientist (CSci) and Member of The Institution of Engineering and Technology UK (MIET).
His nature as lateral thinker and strategist with common sense has allowed him to get outstanding performance as lab manager, project manager and developer of innovative solutions.
Currently, Dr Marlon Cruz is living at Isle of Man and involved in projects along Europe, Asia and Latin America.
