Inspiring Science and Engineering by Being a Volunteer: A Remarkable Experience

Since January 2020, I have had the splendid opportunity to be part of the executive team for the IET Tribology Technical Network. This role has allowed me to engage deeply with the field of tribology, which is the study of friction, wear, and lubrication, and to contribute to the advancement of this critical area of engineering.

In February 2021, I was thrilled to participate in a new initiative aimed at introducing members of the Tribology TN Executive team to the wider community. This initiative has been instrumental in fostering greater collaboration and knowledge sharing among professionals and enthusiasts in the field.

Being part of such a fantastic team has been incredibly rewarding. The IET Tribology Technical Network is composed of dedicated professionals who are passionate about advancing the science and engineering of tribology. Our collective efforts have led to numerous successful events, webinars, and publications that have significantly contributed to the community.
